Shep-adopted

Shep was the first Akbash dog I worked on in rescue. We were first notified Shep was in a shelter in CA with a firm 72 hour euthanasia deadline!

A flurry of faxes, e-mails, and phone calls resulted in Shep being saved. He was transported by an Akbash rescue volunteer to a foster home, where he remained until a permanent home was found. Shep in now lives in Washington state and helps a female Akbash guard sheep.
He is reported to be a very good working dog by his new owner.

Shep is still alive and working at Linda Hayes farm in Port Townsend Washington! That was his FOREVER home for sure.

Bruno is still alive and happy here in Paradise. He no longer is frightened and has 3 buddies to share his life with. I am so glad I rescued Bruno, he has been a stoic, dedicated family member! I love him.
