Snowball

Snowball

1998-2009

Snowball was a gift to his first owners from their son. He was a companion dog to them. He was much loved but eventually a death in the family followed by a remarriage, led to Snowball being out of place. His new Petsitter fell in love and eventually ended up with Snowball. She found him a wonderful home on a ranch in Washington state.
Snowball went to live with his new family and became a beloved member. He had a beautiful young Akbash female for company as well. I first met him a couple years ago at an Akbash gathering. I was completely charmed by his quiet demeanor and his gentle lean. Snowball did the "Akbash lean" and had such a soulful expression on his face. I was sad to learn Snowball passed just recently, he will be much missed by those who knew and loved him.
Snowball's life is a testament to the importance of rescue. Due to life's circumstances, Snowball needed someone to care enough to make sure he got a wonderful second home.
